I have a 2018 Acadia, bought new, and experienced the "shift into park" warning problem. When I brought my car in for service, I was told the part was on backorder. I had to call in weekly but was never notified of a part coming in. Maybe this dealership needs a tracking/notification to solve this problem (all dealership service departments should have a system).
